What is a bamboo muslin wrap and how is it different from regular cotton swaddles?
Our bamboo muslin wraps are made from a blend of bamboo and cotton fibres, woven into a breathable, open-weave muslin fabric. Bamboo is naturally softer, more temperature-regulating, and more absorbent than standard cotton, making it ideal for newborns and sensitive skin. The muslin weave also gets softer with every wash.
Are your wraps safe for newborns?
Yes! Our wraps are made from OEKO-TEX certified, non-toxic materials that are gentle on newborn skin. Always follow safe swaddling guidelines — ensure your baby's hips can move freely and never swaddle above the shoulders.
What size are the wraps?
Our bamboo muslin wraps measure 120cm x 120cm, and our cotton wraps measure 110cm x 110cm. Both sizes are generous enough for swaddling, nursing covers, and more.
Can I use the wrap for other things besides swaddling?
Absolutely! Our wraps are incredibly versatile — use them as a nursing cover, burp cloth, pram blanket, change mat cover, or even a sun shade. They're a true multi-tasker for new parents.
Care Instructions
How do I care for my bamboo wrap?
- Wash before first use.
- Machine wash in cold water on a gentle cycle.
- Line dry in the shade to preserve the fabric and colours.
- Avoid tumble drying and bleach.
- The wrap will become softer and more supple with each wash.
Swaddling
How do I swaddle my baby with a wrap?
Lay the wrap in a diamond shape and fold the top corner down. Place your baby on their back with their neck at the fold. Bring one side across their body and tuck it underneath. Fold the bottom up over their feet, then bring the remaining side across and secure. Always ensure hips can move freely and the wrap is snug but not tight around the chest.
